At Dundee Veterinary Clinic, every service is performed by our veterinary team — veterinarians, technicians, and trained veterinary assistants working under veterinary supervision — as part of a full-service hospital visit, not a stand-alone vaccine clinic or drop-in mobile stop. That means physical exams, safety screening, sterile technique, and monitoring are built into our process and reflected in our pricing below.
Wellness & Exams
A nose-to-tail physical exam performed by your veterinarian, including a review of your pet's health history, weight and body condition assessment, and a personalized plan for vaccines, parasite prevention, and screening bloodwork.
A comprehensive first exam for new puppies and kittens, covering a full physical assessment, deworming and parasite screening review, and a customized vaccine and wellness schedule to get your new pet started right.
A focused visit with a trained member of our veterinary team for routine, non-diagnostic care such as nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, vaccine boosters, or blood draws following an established care plan, performed under veterinary supervision. Technician appointments are not a substitute for a veterinary exam; if a health concern is identified, we'll recommend scheduling with a veterinarian.
For pets who are anxious, fearful, or otherwise unable to safely tolerate a hands-on physical exam, this visit allows you to speak directly with a veterinarian about your pet's health history, symptoms, and behavior. Together we'll discuss options, which may include medication to ease future visits, at-home observations, or alternative ways to gather information about your pet's condition. Because a full physical exam may not be possible in these cases, our recommendations are based on the information available and may be revisited once an exam can safely be completed.
Vaccinations
Veterinarian-administered rabies vaccine, including a pre-vaccine health check to confirm your pet is fit for vaccination and proper documentation for licensing and travel requirements.
Core combination vaccine protecting against distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and parvovirus, given as part of a monitored visit by staff trained to recognize and manage vaccine reactions on site.
Oral Bordetella vaccine administered by trained staff, recommended for dogs who board, groom, or socialize, with guidance on timing for boarding and daycare requirements.

Professional ear cleaning with a look for signs of infection, mites, or inflammation, performed by staff trained to recognize when further diagnostics or treatment are needed.
Diagnostics
In-house 4-way screening test checking for heartworm disease plus three tick-borne illnesses (Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma), run and interpreted the same day by our veterinary team.
Microscopic fecal analysis performed in-house to screen for intestinal parasites, reviewed by a veterinarian to guide any needed treatment.
