Dr. Marian Schenk earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine along with a Master’s in Comparative Biomedical Research from Tuft’s University in Boston, Massachusetts. Born in Australia, Dr. Schenk has lived all over the United States. Her love of animals and science, as well as a desire to always challenge herself, made veterinary medicine a perfect career.

Dr. Schenk is married to her husband, Nick, and together they have two children, Kelly and Annelise. Their pets include a cat and a pony, which the girls ride and compete in horse shows with. When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Schenk can be found riding her Peloton, training for half marathons, healthy baking, traveling and dancing to Taylor Swift.

Dr. Karkheck earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2008. Growing up on a farm, she always found the company of animals to be calming and the bond between humans and animals enchanting. Pairing this love with her insatiable thirst for knowledge and growth, Dr. Karkheck became a veterinarian and discovered a passion for nurturing culture and relationships within a team. As the owner and Hospital Director at Dundee Veterinary Clinic, she is excited to use her experience and skills to grow people and help pets.

Dr. Karkheck is married to her husband, Jesse, and together they are raising two strong, confident girls: Melanie and Tara. They have a boxer dog, Remi, two Thoroughbred horses and a pony. Passionate about health and fitness, Dr. Karkheck loves growing as an athlete at her local CrossFit gym, riding her horse, Ginny Weasley, and spending time with family.
